The Wolfpack was born over a couple of beers with loose tongues & creative thoughts. A gap was identified in the market: where can a person get a craft beer, delicious food, with good service, great vibe & cool decor? At that moment it happened, a drunken howl & the ethos of Pack mentality was born.
The Pack had a craving & the craving was for the best gourmet burgers they could find. With all Pack members being chefs, the desired standard was high & required something different.
Choice is essential, so options of fresh or fried sides, traditional burger and Banting buns or even the old-style & indulgent Vetkoek are on the menu. The line-up for our patties proved endless; pure beef, cheddar stuffed, pork, ostrich or even Karoo lamb & of course we have to cater for the vegetarians too. To complement the variety of patties, we have a well thought out combination of bastings & toppings along with the fresh lettuce, herbs & firm fresh tomatoes.
Of course with every great gourmet burger an ice cold craft beer is required.
The Wolfpack decided to not only present the best gourmet burger but also the best beer. With this in mind we thought it best we brew our own craft beer – Big Bad APA – always ice cold with just the right amount of bitter, flecks of floral & the burnt butter brown colour. It was an instant hit & perfect companion to THE BIG BAD WOLF, the signature gourmet burger of The Wolfpack.
